IS THIS FOR YOU

You might be ready for this if...

You don't need to be at rock bottom. You just need to be done fitting yourself into systems that were never built for you.

  • You know you are autistic but knowing has not made daily life easier

  • You want support that does not require you to mask just to access it

  • You're ready to stop pushing harder and start building something that actually fits you

  • You've tried therapy, self-help, or advice that assumed a neurotypical brain

  • Keeping appointments or being on camera feels like too much right now

  • You want to understand your values and build your life around them, not around everyone else's expectations

WHY THIS WORKS DIFFERENTLY

Why written, not weekly video calls

If your exhaustion comes from years of performing for other people, a weekly video call quietly asks you to do the exact thing that wore you out, just to get help with it. Managing your face. Reading the room. Being on, on schedule, whether or not you have it in you that day.

Writing (or using voice-to-text or voice notes)removes that demand. You can take the time you need to find the right words, read your own reflection back before you send it, and show up exactly as you are that day, no performance required. This isn't a lesser version of coaching. For many autistic adults, it's the format that actually lets the real work happen.

Prefer to talk things through sometimes? Your monthly check-in can still be a live call, your choice, every time. The weekly rhythm just isn't built around one.

WHAT THIS PROTECTS

  • No camera to manage.

  • No appointment to keep your nervous system braced for all day beforehand.

  • No real-time social performance just to access support.

You bring your real life, in your own words, in your own time.

IS THIS FOR YOU

Coaching, not therapy

This is a coaching container. That means we are not diagnosing, treating, or providing clinical services of any kind. What we are doing is building a life that is genuinely designed for you.

Each week you receive a guided reflection prompt tailored to where you are right now. You respond in your own time, in whatever way works for you. Once a month we check in together, and you choose how that happens: a 30-minute Zoom call, a video or audio message, or a written exchange. No format is better than another. The right one is the one that costs you the least.

The approach draws on behaviour science, values-based thinking, and 21 years of clinical practice. It also draws on lived experience, because I am autistic too, and I have done this work myself.

THE APPROACH

Why ACT for autistic adults

Autistic people often carry a long history of being rejected, dismissed, or told to try harder, simply for not fitting a world built around neurotypical expectations. That history tends to leave behind shame and the quiet belief that something is wrong with you, rather than with the fit between you and your environment.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) starts somewhere different. No neuronormative assumptions about how you should show up. No labels, no instructions on how to feel. You are not disordered or defective, you are human, with your own values, nervous system, and way of making life meaningful. The work is client-centred and fully individualised, finding your authentic values, not adopting someone else's idea of a good life, infused throughout with self-compassion rather than self-correction.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

This is not therapy, counselling, or clinical treatment. It is not a substitute for mental health support. If you are in crisis or need clinical care, please reach out to a qualified professional. Coaching works best alongside, not instead of, other support.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything in the container

Weekly guided reflections

Each week you receive a personalised prompt tailored to your current focus. You respond in your own time. No deadline, no word count, no right answer.

Monthly check-in, your way

Once a month we connect. You choose: a 30-minute Zoom call, a video or audio message, or a written exchange. Whatever costs you the least that month.

Individualised to you

This is not a course with fixed modules. The prompts and focus areas shift based on where you are and what you need. No two clients work through the same thing.

Low-demand by design

No appointments to show up to. No camera required unless you want it. No pressure to respond instantly. Built for autistic adults, by an autistic coach who understands what demand actually costs.

HOW IT WORKS

How the work unfolds

01

Your first few weeks: getting oriented

A short application, then an intake once you're in. I write you a starting map, reflecting back what I'm hearing before any work begins, so you know you've been understood from day one.

02

Then, a steady weekly rhythm

We connect once a month. You pick Zoom, video or audio message, or written. We look at what's shifting, what's still hard, and what comes next.

03

Roughly every month, we step back together

Your format, your choice: Zoom, audio, or written. We look at what's shifting, what's still hard, and where to focus next.

Most people move through an early stretch of getting oriented, then a longer rhythm of steady weekly and monthly work.

There's no fixed program to follow, just a structure that holds you while you do the work.

A note before you join

Before payment, you'll complete a short application: a few questions about where you are right now, so we can both be confident this is a good fit before either of us commits. It's not a test, and a thoughtful "not quite right yet" is a kindness, not a rejection. I read every application myself and reply within two business days (Monday-Thursday). Alongside that, you'll confirm a few things: that you understand this is coaching, not therapy or clinical treatment, and that you're entering a monthly subscription with no minimum commitment. They're there because I want you to arrive knowing exactly what this is, and to feel good about that.

  • Personalised to your needs

  • Flexible and low-demand

Founding member spots are limited.

Price will increase when they are gone.

Recommended commitment is three months. That's roughly how long it takes to actually build new skills and see real change settle in, not just feel a little better for a week. Most people who start this work stay somewhere between six months and a year. There's no required term, and you can stop whenever you need to.

My job, the way I see it, is to work myself out of a job: to help you build skills and self-understanding solid enough that eventually you don't need me anymore. That's not a failure state for either of us, that's the actual goal.

Founding member rate. £97/month (or $125/month USD), limited to the first 5 clients to join. Once those spots are filled, new clients join at the standard rate, but yours stays locked in for as long as your subscription remains active. I also keep my total caseload deliberately small, not as a marketing device, but because the kind of attention this work needs only holds at a capacity I can actually sustain.

Payments are processed securely. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time. Read the full coaching terms any time before applying.

ACT Coach • Behaviour Scientist • Late-diagnosed Autistic

@creatingwith_melissa

I am an autistic coach with a background in behaviour science and 21 years of clinical practice. I built this container because the support I needed as a late-identified autistic adult didn't exist. Everything here, the flexible format, the choice in how we connect, the values-based approach, was designed with our nervous systems in mind. I have done this work myself. I know it takes time, and I know what it feels like when something finally fits.

Ready to build a life that fits?

Starting is straightforward.

You'll complete a short application below, I'll read it and get back to you within two business days, and if it's a good fit, I'll send you a link to get started.

That's it.

A Life That Fits Coaching

Before we begin...

Before we begin, I want you to know that whatever you share here is welcome, and so is sharing very little. There are no right answers, and nothing you write will be judged or used against you. I ask these questions because understanding a little about where you are helps me know whether this is genuinely the right fit for both of us, not to assess whether you deserve support.

I'll read this myself and get back to you within 2 business days. If you have questions for me before then, just ask.

There are three short sections. Allow about 5 to 10 minutes, and share only what feels comfortable right now.

Section 1: Basic Details

Your country, state, time zone

Section 2: A few questions...

There's no right way to answer this. It might be one specific thing, or a general sense that something needs to change.
Not the ideal week, the real one. What does it actually contain? Work, family, the things that take your energy, the things that restore it. You don't need to be comprehensive.
Honest reactions welcome, including "I'm not sure yet." This helps me understand whether the format is likely to work for you.
This is genuinely optional. But if something's been sitting in your mind, this is a good place to put it.

Section 3: Some details worth knowing...
